WWE legend Jesse Ventura sparks controversy with blunt remarks about Barron Trump amid draft debate

Jesse Ventura has stirred fresh controversy after turning his attention back to the Trump family.

Following earlier remarks questioning the 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the WWE legend and former Minnesota governor has now shifted focus to Barron Trump, making comments that have sparked heated debate online.

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ventura revisited the assassination attempt, expressing skepticism about the incident and suggesting inconsistencies in the public narrative. He even referenced wrestling terminology while discussing it, which added to the backlash his comments received.

However, the discussion escalated further when Ventura addressed military service, directly calling on President Donald Trump’s son Barron to consider enlisting. A Vietnam War veteran himself, Ventura criticized Trump over his draft deferment and argued that Barron, now 20, should step forward and serve.

He said Barron could “do something his father didn’t have the courage to do,” framing his remarks around duty and military service rather than personal attack.

Ventura also pointed out that none of Trump’s children have served in the military, and referenced Trump’s own controversial draft history during the Vietnam War era.

The comments have fueled a wave of online reaction, with supporters and critics sharply divided over Ventura’s tone and claims.
