Justin Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer known for his genre-blending style and major influence on modern pop music. He was discovered by American record executive Scooter Braun and signed to RBMG Records in 2008. He first gained widespread attention with his debut EP My World (2009), quickly rising to fame as a teen idol.

He later achieved further success with releases such as Under the Mistletoe (2011), which became the first Christmas album by a male artist to debut at number one in the United States. His third studio album, Believe (2012), showcased a shift toward dance-pop and helped him continue expanding his global audience.

Despite early career success, Bieber faced significant public controversies during 2013–2014, which affected his public image. He later reinvented his sound in 2015 by exploring EDM, notably collaborating with Jack Ü on “Where Are Ü Now,” a track that earned a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

This new direction influenced his album Purpose (2015), which produced major hits including “Love Yourself,” “Sorry,” and “What Do You Mean?” The album marked a major commercial and critical comeback.

In the following years, Bieber continued his global success through high-profile collaborations such as “Despacito (Remix)” and “I’m the One.” He also made chart history by achieving multiple number-one hits in rapid succession and expanding his influence across pop and R&B genres.
