A figure dubbed online as the “Chinese Nostradamus” has recently gone viral for making bold claims about a potential conflict between the United States and Iran. His name, Xueqin Jiang, is drawing attention not because of mysticism, but because he approaches predictions through historical patterns and geopolitical analysis rather than superstition.
Back in 2024, Jiang outlined three major forecasts during a lecture. He suggested that Donald Trump would return to power and that tensions between the U.S. and Iran would intensify. With those developments appearing to align—at least in part—with current events, interest in his third prediction has surged.
That final claim is the most controversial. Jiang argues that in the event of a war, the United States might face serious challenges rather than an easy victory.
