According to reports, Benjamin Netanyahu was quietly dealing with a serious health concern while major regional tensions unfolded. A routine follow-up after surgery for an enlarged prostate reportedly revealed a very small lesion, later identified as early-stage prostate cancer. Doctors are said to have presented him with two options: ongoing monitoring or immediate treatment to eliminate the risk before it developed further.
Choosing swift intervention, he reportedly underwent targeted treatment at Hadassah Medical Centre, continuing to manage political and security responsibilities throughout the period, including briefings and high-level calls. Sources describe him as maintaining a full work schedule, with little public indication of the medical situation.
Following treatment, the growth is said to have been fully addressed with no signs of spread. Netanyahu has described his current condition as stable and in “excellent physical health,” with the matter only coming to light later amid concerns about political misuse of sensitive personal health information and its potential impact on ongoing diplomatic efforts.
