I just noticed something on my bed, and it’s honestly a little unsettling. I’m not sure what it is and it’s starting to freak me out a bit.

Those small reddish-brown, glossy capsules on the bed are most likely softgel pills—common supplements or medications that may have fallen out of a bottle, pocket, or bedside container. Their smooth, uniform, jelly-like appearance strongly matches products like fish oil, vitamin E, or other dietary supplements rather than anything organic or harmful.

Natural objects such as seeds usually look duller, more textured, and irregular, while insect eggs tend to be pale, tiny, and clustered rather than individually shaped and shiny like these.

It’s possible they were accidentally dropped by someone nearby, or even knocked onto the bed without anyone noticing. If you’re unsure of their origin, the safest step is to check any supplement or medication bottles in the home and dispose of anything unidentifiable.

Even though finding something unexpected like this can feel unsettling at first, it almost always turns out to be something ordinary and harmless.
